2012 APA Illinois State Invitational

To be held November 8-11, 2012 at The Grand Hotel, Peoria, IL

This event is open to all APA players (please see rules for eligibility requirements), currently on an active APA Fall roster within participating Illinois League areas.  It consist of an Open 8-Ball Team competition, five seperate skill level seeded 8-Ball Singles tournaments,  five seperate skill level seeded 9-Ball Singles tournaments, and dozens of MiniMania events.  All events are 100% payback of entry fees (minus initial entry fee) to the top 25% of the field.

Open 8-Ball Team - This event is open to any combination of men and women (minimum 6 player/maximum 8 player teams). The 23-Rule applies.  Entry is $400 per team (includes $80 entry fee).  The max field is 32 teams.

8-Ball Singles S/L 2&3s - This event is open to Skill Level 2 & 3s only.  Entry is $40 per player (includes $10 entry fee).  The max field is 24 players.

8-Ball Singles S/L 4s - This event is open to Skill Level 4s only.  Entry is $50 per player (includes $10 entry fee).  The max field is 24 players.

8-Ball Singles S/L 5s - This event is open to Skill Level 5s only.  Entry is $50 per player (includes $10 entry fee).  The max field is 24 players.

8-Ball Singles S/L 6s - This event is open to Skill Level 6s only.  Entry is $50 per player (includes $10 entry fee).  The max field is 24 players.

8-Ball Singles S/L 7s - This event is open to Skill Level 7s only.  Entry is $60 per player (includes $10 entry fee).  The max field is 24 players.

9-Ball Singles S/L 1,2&3s - This event is open to Skill Level 1,2 & 3s only.  Entry is $40 per player (includes $10 entry fee).  The max field is 24 players.

9-Ball Singles S/L 4&5s - This event is open to Skill Level 4&5s only.  Entry is $50 per player (includes $10 entry fee).  The max field is 24 players.

9-Ball Singles S/L 6&7s - This event is open to Skill Level 6&7s only.  Entry is $50 per player (includes $10 entry fee).  The max field is 24 players.

9-Ball Singles S/L 8&9s - This event is open to Skill Level 8&9s only.  Entry is $60 per player (includes $10 entry fee).  The max field is 24 players.

Competition is played on 3 ½ x 7 – ft. tables, using a modified single elimination format that allows every team the opportunity to play at least twice before being eliminated.  Using The Equalizer® handicap system allows players with different playing abilities to compete on an equal basis. Everyone can play, anyone can win!
